Our Current Projects
- Building Awareness: Engage with the UN system to assure that UN officials and all member states know about human rights abuses in Sri Lanka to build a case for the UNHRC bodies to take strong action on Sri Lanka leading toward a timely transitional justice process credible to the victims of abuse.
- Advocacy in the US: Engage with legislators and US government officials to bring awareness to the human rights situation in Sri Lanka and challenges to transitional justice.
- Pursue Justice: Monitor and intervene as the transitional justice process develops in Sri Lanka to assure well-resourced institutions based on international standards are established with trained and neutral personnel.
- Building Lasting Peace: Continue to build the foundation of information & understanding regarding human rights abuses in Sri Lanka’s past and present so that policy-makers can make informed decisions, including in the US among citizens and policymakers.
- Provide Relief: Financially support projects empowering the victims and survivors. Currently engaged in facilitating deployment of ambulance service in one of the most neglected areas in North-East Sri Lanka.
